Al-Sarkal tops the Arab world in the “International Chess” rankings

It is ranked fifth in Asia, while it is ranked 23 globally.

 Al Serkal achieved this big jump in the rankings, after its last participation in the Biel Festival in Switzerland last August, after a two-year hiatus due to the Corona pandemic, but it is from the first participation after this stop that it made this big leap.

 Rawda Al Serkal expressed her great happiness with this achievement, which she gifted to the wise leadership and to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood "Mother of the Emirates", and to all the people of the Emirates and the Abu Dhabi Chess and Mind Games Club. and her family.

 She said: I succeeded in returning to the leadership of the game in the Arab world, this achievement has a special taste because it comes in the fiftieth year, I am happy to return to the ladder of achievements after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, and the return was to top the ranking list after my last participation in the Biel Festival, and I had previously been the player World No. 1 in 2018.

 About her ambition, Al Serkal said: To obtain the title of a great international master, and to win the Masters Championship in the future, and before that to be in the first place in any regional, continental or international tournament in which I participate. I thank my father for his great support, my coaches and the Abu Dhabi Chess Club.
